Who we are
Wheelhouse Cowork LLC ("Wheelhouse," "we," "us") operates coworking spaces at 189 Main St, Ste 3, and 33 Commercial St, 2nd Fl N, Gloucester, MA 01930. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, member portal, and spaces, and how we use it.
Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, and billing details when you become a member, book a room or tour, join a waitlist, or contact us; and your electronic signature (with the date, time, IP address, and device information) when you sign an agreement.
Payment information: card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored on our servers. We keep only limited details such as card brand, last four digits, and expiration date.
Space and booking activity: your reservations, door-access events at our locations, and account activity in the member portal.
Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure our site.
How we use your information
To provide and manage your membership, bookings, and building access; to bill you and process payments; to send service messages such as confirmations, invoices, receipts, and reminders; to respond to your questions; to keep our spaces and systems secure; and to comply with legal obligations.
With your consent, we may also send you updates about Wheelhouse events and offers by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in to text reminders, we use your mobile number only to send messages about your room reservations, such as a reminder shortly before a booking ends with a link to extend it. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our SMS provider, Twilio), solely to send the messages you asked for.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Wheelhouse — for example payment processing (Stripe), hosting and databases, email and text delivery, calendar scheduling, and door-access systems — under obligations to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Wheelhouse, our members, or others.
Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements; signed agreements and billing records are retained as business records. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, though no system is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You can review and update your contact details and text-message preferences on your member portal Profile page. To request a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion where we are not required to keep it, email nate@wheelhousework.com.
